    I have a what was called a Falklands Parka might be a 68 pattern smock so I know all about the “bumflap” say what you like about Brit kit of that age it’s cracking when it’s cold, not so good when cold and wet though.

    unfortunately theres not a lot you can do, changing the battery on any stile of L85 is a pain.

    king arms L1A1

    I have a semi-working king arms L1A1 in black it all seams to run fine apart from the rounds rolling out the end so could just be way down on power.  it has a battery 90rd mid cap and 4 high caps just wounder what the going rate would be for it.
