As title, upgraded the spring in my TM NGRS MP5 and now I'm getting a slight "Twang" sound when firing the gun (used a CTEK 330fps spring for ngrs). I know one of my options is to try a spring from another manufacturer but I've read one way to reduce this noise it to fit a bearing spring guide...

Check you have active braking set, could be the motor over spinning. Do you have a 7.4v Lipo to try?

Its in! Only two really minor bits of dremmelling to be done on one half of the gearbox (less than when I installed it into the standard ics split gearbox). Some nice little touches in the Krytac box, like a little plastic bridge piece that protects the cables from the motor pinion etc. Anyway...

No it's that high pitched motor noise, I tried the the rocket motor in it and the noise goes but it does over spin! So active breaking is the way forward!
