I am most likely going to buy new if i am going to invest in this option. Only thing that makes me lean towards getting the TAC41-P is I like the look of the rifle (more like a M40a3), and my TM VSR10 is not in very good condition, which just increases the cost to replace those parts as well.

Yeah this is the same position I am in. My Gspec is 10+years old the stock is scratched and some of the parts are ceased etc. Plus as you say, upgrading would cost amost as much if not more than a TAC41-P. Im guessing parts are easy enough to get a hold of for it?
