    All sorted! Thanks for the help guys! I ended up stripping down the top half of gearbox again, cleaning and greasing everything and putting it all back together carefully checking everything as I went.     So my AEG will fire semi or auto when unloaded, same when loaded with an empty mag, but when loaded with bb's it only fires auto. Thought it might have been the mag compressing things, but like I said it's only when I put bbs through it that it only fires auto

    Thanks for the advice! That was the conclusion I was coming to before I found the SA gearbox, can you suggest anything reliable? can go upto £200, just don't wanna get burned again like I did with the lancer...rushed into that, just wanted to have my own AEG. Lesson learned!
