i see thank you for your help, the actual part that pushes down from the arm is just a plastic block and isn't adjustable or changeable in anyway (see piccys below) which doesn't help at all. 

it moves, but i can see that it's still barely pushes the bucking into the barrel is what im trying to say, sorry, what do you mean shim out between the nub and bucking, do you mean inside the actual chamber?

If your gun has a quick change system simply buy a new spring, somthing like a m100 or m90 and replace it, if you know the model and make of your rif do a quick google and find how to replace the spring with your specific gun, i reccomend ak2m4 but other sites are available ;)
