How old are the other kids? Sounds like you and your boy are not going to be phased based on your camping experience but are the other kids equally tough? Might be worth sending them a pack list - change of clothes, bags for wet and muddy gear etc just so you don’t get lumbered with 10 whining...

Beware that the DORs aren’t compatible with a lot of traditional HiCapa upgrades as TM modified the design. They are reputedly very good out of the box. Also blinding price @BigStew - I am tempted.

AAP01 has to be a contender. Cheap, great out of the box and enough aftermarket to take it in any direction you choose. Or you can spend a bit more on the Lancer Tandemkross clone which is AAP01 under the skin but based on a real target shooting pistol.
