    Are you 100% sure the wires are on the correct terminals on the motor? Putting them on the wrong ones makes the motor spin the other way and jams on the anti reversal latch. Have you checked the bolt stop mechanism isn't broken (can be done by removing the gearbox, but not taking it apart)...
