    I’m using green gas. It’s clean and oiled. I’m testing it indoors. I’ve fully gassed the mags and tried it with two types of fully and partially loaded mags. Like I say, it works manually but not when firing.

    Hi all, I have a VFC Glock 17 Gen4. When manually racking with an empty mag inserted the slide will lock back. But it will not lock back on an empty mag when firing! I’ve used two different, fully gassed mags. It happens on both. Any ideas what is causing this issue?

    Thanks for your help. A spot of oil and a fully gassed mag sorted out most of it. However, it now doesn’t lock back when empty. Very frustrating Update. It’s a magazine issue as I tried my spare mag and it kicks back fine on empty
