    Ear Protection

    I always use ear protection, since much like my eyesight my hearing won't come back if it's damaged. I used to use Comtac XPs, but I've found EP3 earplugs to be more convenient, and due to the lack of variable sound amplification I find it easier to hear hits to my gear.

    I think you're right there, the switch is nice if you're using it as a weaponlight, but for a helmet mounted light you'd probably be better off with something designed for that purpose. Yep, it's a clone of the real thing, and it does function slightly differently, instead of switching modes on...

    I just thought I'd contribute my setup, since it seems like a fairly unconventional way of doing things (at least in airsoft, I've seen a number of fairly similar real guns). I did take the gun out for a few skirmishes before touching anything to make sure any additions would actually benefit...

    Sorry to have to tell you, but the RDS is a clone of the Aimpoint T1. I use this particular optic precisely because of its small size.

    Nothing terribly revolutionary, I just swapped out the grip and threw on a few carefully chosen accessories.
