I'm not sure buddy. My last gun was hot, so I took it to the shop and they recommended cutting the spring and it was fine after. I guess what I'm really asking, does any body know if the cylinder is it a concealed unit, or can the spring inside it be changed? Cheers for the reply buddy.

Cheers dude. I didn't think it would affect the fps. Am I right in thinking that the only thing that can increase fps is spring, motor and piston?

Has anyone got tips/advise on setting up a red dot sight? I obviously know how to attach it to my G36, but where on the rail does it sit? As far back as possible, in the middle etc? How do you align it? Do you set the dot so it sits on the front iron sight? Any tips and/or advise welcome.

I've only put 1 mag thru the gun at the moment as I don't have anywhere to fire it. So once I've put a few more thousand bbs thru it is it safe to assume this bring fps down slightly?

Thanks for the advise. I had another ho tonight, and managed to do it. I think I was just being abit of a fanny last night, worried about nipping the cables. Although it is a very tight fit.
