Anyone got one of these bad boys?

Whilst mulling over the Real Sword Type 97 which is a bit primitive though flawless in its externals, the relatively high tech-ness of the Ares has me interested. I believe its almost fully up gradable including the hop unit. The 2 burst mosfet and built in useless laser sounds pretty awesome.

Overall seems like a solid bit of kit. However barely anyone has one! Any experience of at least holding one? Redwolf essentially think its the best current bullpup on the market, though I take that with a pinch of salt.

Cheers!

Apparently, they're a pain in the ass to disassemble, and they're also really heavy, and they're also really expensive.

If you don't mind putting in a little effort you can make it good same as any other gun. Looks wise it certainly works.

Absolutely. Though in this case I am looking for reliability before all else. I am thinking changing the barrel, flat hop and not touch it for as long as possible.

So the Real Sword Type 97 with bomb proof externals and fairly good simple internals, which are proprietary. Or the Ares which has reasonable externals with reasonable internals but can be replaced, though there is more to go wrong.

Both are around the same price.

Your choice but I am only a call away if you need anything doing to them.

99% of airsoft is just what makes you smile.
