Yeah, the Dynatex .209 all come with one hole at the top. The SWAT VTG came with one at the top and 4 larger ones around the side because it could also take a 12 gauge blanks. (It came with 9mm and .209 adaptors) I didn't need to make the extra holes in the VTG but I had the drill out and I was in 'Driller Killer' mode 😆 (They were properly measured out so nice and symmetrical) 1 hour ago, Tackle said: To be honest, unless you run them with 12g shotgun blanks (as I sometimes do😈), 9mm or .206 blanks don't have enough oomph to propel stuff. Yeah I'd consider maybe two or three alternative vent holes, not too big & high enough on the sides to be useful, but not too close to the original hole that might weaken the structure. The 1911 works in winter, but due to its tiny gas reservoir it can struggle. This should have no such issues. Also, the real steel version is nice. One for my G28, one for my MP7, and one more cause why not. Also had a bit of spare cash after the latest paycheck so I ordered the Wolverine Reaper mk2 Premium engine that I needed to be able to field the G28/417a2. Thats all the essentials, now its just accessories and such left to get. And, of course, I have to decide whether I want to put a UCS stock on it... And finally I was going to get the standard VFC G28 case, but measuring it makes the gun only like 1mm shorter than the case, so I instead went with a much larger two-gun case so I can fit everything in the box. Specna has a cracked gearbox case but otherwise seems fine. R36 seems to run perfectly other than a slightly finnicky bolt catch. Not bad at £75 for a gbbr with 2 mags. Backpack to go with my warrior cpc so i can carry some hydration. Hoping to order a complete upper gearbox for the cxp ape next week which will be a full internal rebuild and set of spares. Yeah I got sick of having a giant stack of specific kydex holsters and never having the right gun/light/colour combo I wanted. They were all very nice and gucci but at the time I bought them there weren't any companies who built kydex around the specific models of airsoft guns (especially Glocks) so fitment often wasn't *quite* right. Having a generic CB coloured one for no-light mounting that works with pretty much all outdoor loadouts and a grey lighted one for anything indoors takes up a ton less space. I've not liked BH as a company for many years, went off SERPAs long ago, but I think they've turned things around a little. My expectations quality wise were very low but they're fairly solid as it turns out. Wouldn't take one to war because the mech looks like it'll jam with sand/mud/stones same as SERPAs do but for bb wars where it's fun to own a range of different models (and financially viable to do so) they sure fit the bill, even better than the offerings from SureFire and S&S actually.
