Hello everyone,

I am wondering how do you guys run 2 different setups with one plate carrier. At the moment I have Warrior DCS plate carrier and want to run 2 different aeg setups ups on it. One would be for MP7 AEG and another one set for TM NGRS m4.
I keep wondering if I want to buy something like Warrior Recon plate carrier or just buy molle panels and change them whenever I run different aeg. What would you suggest?

If you're sticking with the DCS, your best bet would be to get a placard adaptor for the MOLLE front flap. Basically it's a molle backed sheet of velcro loop. Then you can put a couple of side release buckles (the female bit) onto the "bib" area and use aftermarket placards to swap loadouts.

Something like this https://www.wtfidea.com/placard-adapter-pals-molle-vest-velcro-loop-field/

TMC also do something similar for less money or AXL Advanced do something much the same for more money. Take your pick!

I love my warrior dcs and would much rather stick with it, but have hard time finding good quality molle panels or anything that would work well. If you can could you give me some links or what not to help me out here.

How much do you want to spend? There's literally hundreds of decent placards out there!

https://www.google.com/search?q=plate+carrier+placard&rlz=1C1GCEU_enGB820GB820&oq=plate+carrier+placard&aqs=chrome..69i59j69i57j0i20i263i512j0i512l3j0i457i512j0i22i30l3.6127j1j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Or of course, you could get one of the plethora of micro rigs and use that as a placard. That would give you plenty of flexibility by simply swapping out the inserts.

If you're happy with the DCS and general Warrior quality then get a couple of the placards they do and put on the pouches of your choice.

Otherwise, anything by Ferro, PIG, Spiritus, Haley Stategic, Mayflower etc will be plenty good enough! The main thing will be getting the adaptor/velcro panel to get the placard attached in the first place. You could do a lot worse than the AXL advanced system https://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/axl-adaptive-vest-placard-avp-for-jpc--airlite-spc--molle-carriers-33314-p.asp with https://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/axl-advanced-velcro-loop-adapter-35541-p.asp

AXL velcro adapters are out of stock sadly and can't find any warrior one's anywhere

I tend to use more of a russian loadout so I just switch out the pouches to suit the gun, SVD, VSS or AK.

Can be a pain with the molle sometimes though as it's quite tight to get the straps through 😂

I use the placard systems so for different loadouts I just rip of the front of my rig off and change it, usually I keep the appropriate panel in or on the case for the matching rif.

If i had the dcs already I'd look for a

placard adaptor. Tactical uk and hueys are a good place to start.

Had to delve the mind palace for this one.

https://www.britishtactical.com/hl-6-pals-wide-loop-panel/

https://www.britishtactical.com/hl-adaptable-modular-system-parts/ - select "2 x QASM"

There's a plethora of this type of stuff in the states from a dozen brands but I don't know any other company making it in the UK.

I'll say that the DCS much be about a decade old (maybe more?) by now and if you like yours you'll really love PCs like the JPC2 or Spiritus 119, but don't step down in quality from the DCS to a chinese clone either.  Once you've added the placard functionality if you don't want to change platform look at some of the quick release cummerbunds out there down the line maybe, you'll have a great setup to gradually build there.

Do at least check out Tasmanian Tiger, Direct Action and Combat Systems in Europe though for PCs.  Very nice super modern options for a lot less than the premium kit from the US.

I was just going to suggest British Tactical! Good gear.

The warrior placards are in stock at the link I posted. Or, y'know...Google.

Two ideas here.

Either get a plain MOLLE PC and buy the different pouches to swap over when it suits, or... get a basic chest rig like this https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/black-river-900d-cordura-chest-rig?pv=17232 or this https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/8fields-tactical-compact-multi-mission-chest-harness?pv=11577 , which would do you as a good all rounder for whatever you decide to run.

I've fancied the second one above for a while, nice and low drag and compact.
