Hi all, extremely frustrated today - new pew day but not a fun day as my Nuprol BOCCA series 2 12” rail is not playing ball with my SA EDGE 2.0

Issues:
1. Rail when secured drops down to the point it is cutting into the end of the barrel.
2. Bottom section cannot be attached as the screws are too large, blocking the rail from fitting in.

I think issue 1 is to do with the gap between the barrel nut and receiver where the rail sticks out is not big enough - would more shims on the barrel but extend this? (Already have 3 on)

Issue 2 I think is a QC issue and not machined precisely enough. Either file the tops of the screws off or return for one checked in tore to fit?

Any help appreciated - pics for clarity. Cheers!

Any suggestions or previous experience?

Is the rail actually tight to the upper receiver? I have the 9" installed on my G&P and it's rock solid with no sag, It almost seems like you've over snugged some of the bolts causing it to bind against the upper and thus point down.

As for the lower rail not fitting past the bolts, it does seem as if yours has been supplied with larger than normal bolt heads.

Can you go back to the retailer to see if they can change it for you?

I would start from there.
