I potentially want to buy a lot of MK5s as I am fed up of not being able to use my impact nade in woodland, does anyone have recommendations for stores?

Airsoft Zone have 100 for £199 that seems the best I can find unless anyone knows of anywhere?

That’s a fair price, unless you can turn up in person pyro comes with the issue of needing specific couriers

Another option is directly from Enola, but of course their definition of bulk discount is bigger than a players.  They will sell to people but will try to avoid undercutting or pulling away customers from the stockists.

https://eg-products.com

Have a nose through the product information at the bottom, and take care of them while in storage at home.

Also note that the box for say 100 mk5s is designed and tested for the level of explosive in there and has all the safety info.  Even when you’ve used a few keep the rest in the original box

For delivery I've used airsoft world before... Reasonably cheap if you do a bulk order (they do discounts)

thanks for the recommendation, they are not as cheap as I have found them though. I find it annoying that the store I want to but from are just blanket banning posting pyro when other places are able to post and lets face it they are delivered to the shop somehow. I wouldnt mind paying a more for delivery.

Also weird they are turning down a £200+ order also with whats been going on and the state of the economy but hey ho.

Oh well.

Admittedly when it comes to bulk buying pyro I tend to shop around and email the various retailers to see who will do what (assuming you know what it is you want and can give details (type, quantity etc.)).

The last bulk order I placed was through Zero One and I found them to be pretty good.

When we get back to playing regularly I'll no doubt be doing another bulk order for smokes and frags so I'd certainly be interested to hear who you go with in the end.

As far as posting pyro is concerned, I'm guessing it falls down to what procedures they have in place to confirm you are able to make the purchase in line with any relevant legislation and the other major factor will be which courier(s) they have contracts with and if that courier is happy delivering pyro.

No courier can carry pyro in their ‘standard’ method.

For those who do accept pyro, on the face of it there’s no difference in the van that picks up and drops off, but it will only be accepted on certain methods in their portfolio, can’t be loaded in airmail etc and within limits on the amount of each type of pyro.

There are likely to be allocated slots within the week from a ‘normal’ courier for their specialist options, and most will only go via a specialist so can go anytime any day - at a cost

Small amounts may be able to go via normal methods.

Getting it to the shop will be in real bulk, by a specialist courier - or by the manufacturers own transport.

Retailers are between a rock and a hard place with pyro - unless they have specialist storage they are limited on how much they can stock at any one time, this then also affects their ability to supply a bulk buying customer and doesn’t make it viable to use a specialist supplier to send less

often - they can, but the price of sending can make the purchase less attractive to the player

Airsoft zone probably want to offload a good quantity of mk5s, dropping to a good price to attract a click & collect buyer, but the cost of sending and headache of a good specialist put the price back up

Back in the day before we got involved with Enola I used to plan work trips to outlying branches so that I could go to the Midlands on a Thursday or Friday for a stop off for a couple of cases of pyro

Hitting the optimum price bracket and no postage premium

Fair points, I didnt realise it was such a PITA. I considered driving up to Airsoft Zone, but its a 2 hour round trip and I wont be anywhere near there in the forseeable future for me to plan a trip in.

The annoying thing is I am pretty close to the shop next week on a work trip but as I will have 15 kids with me and using trains and public transport its not going to be easy to swing by the store whilst up that way :D

I have found somewhere for doing 100 for £233 and they are in stock and able to post so worth doing that as fuel and my time are worth more to me.

Thanks for the advice peeps!
