Impressive!  I did a lot of these as a kid.  I did a few WWI aircraft in my 20s when I gave up smoking too.

Very nice, I like the transitions through the olives/browns.

I do a fair few kits each year, Mostly tanks and planes, but I have a citroen 2cv and a landrover series III LWB on the table atm. They tend to sit through summer and get picked up more in winter!

If you want a challenge have a look at Takom models. They do some really well detailed kits that are a good step up from the standard airfix kits.

This is a Takom T55 I did a few years ago.

Really nice work. I’ve eyed up something a bit more modern a few times over the last few weeks.!

Excellent details mate, I build a lot of these. I commission build also for clients.

Just finished a 1/32 scale Lancaster with over 1m wing span

good god, the Sherman took me about 3 weeks. I’ve looked at a 1/32 P-51 but a Lancaster would take me about 14 years.!!

Mega work. One of the most beautiful aircraft to have graced the skies, and you sir have done it justice.

early pics as probably not even 20% finished yet, but been working on a halftrack. 55D68FF7-62BB-4001-8D4B-D512EA971BD4.thumb.jpeg.46a5cb6aec6b5966420498022a72a5d1.jpeg

Awesome work sir, did you start with a kit, or are they scratch built?

 Thankyou all

All 3 aircraft are kits

The Lancaster is a HK models kit, Spitfire was a Trumpeter Kit and the Hurricane a vintage Revell kit..

Thanks again

Looks like a massive amount of scratch building to get them that good, nice one 👍🏻

There was a little scratch building involved, and some aftermarket parts. its mainly time and patience that turns them out like that.

Patience being the one that runs out quickest when something doesn’t go right.! The first wash on the Sherman went dreadful.! Was seconds from launching it into the garden!

I've taken to turning Tesco photo-frames into small scenes in 1/72. Not quite up to the same level as those above; I need to focus more on the quality of my painting and weathering effects etc, but it's tricky without an airbrush. Anyway, keeps me busy.
