Mid cap disassembly

Not sure but maybe its heat welded?

For anyone who cares I managed to get it open. It had been heat welded at the seams so I took a junior hacksaw to the bottom corners along the seams and got a knife in the gap to split it. Definitely irreversible without glue but it beats smashing it open.

 well done for getting it open.

I once bought some cheap mid caps which came apart when I was filling them. I used a hot soldering iron to spot weld them back together. Not pretty but worked lol
