I was looking for a new AEG (yes M4) when I came across this, what attracted me was the heavily reduced price at almost 40% off.I used it for the first time last sunday 02/08 and was suprised at how well it performed.Firing at around 325 fps the range was fine and the rof was very good.It has Noveske trades which some will like,I don't mind but my m8 hates them.

The narrow handguard is really comfortable to hold and has a strange square/triangular shape, the pistol grip is designed exclusively to EMG brand with the EMG tradmark on it.The barrel is metal with a bore of 6.03 and the hop is of metal construction ,it is TM compatible(?).The fire selector, bolt release and mag release are all ambidextrous. The gearbox is the latest Silver edge SDU 2.0 chip with 5 firing modes, tbh wasted on me,I might mess with them but I'm happy with semi and full auto. The only additions were a 3 point sling and sights as no sights are supplied.

Negs for me made by APS under license from EMG,which I discovered after purchase and may have stopped me purchasing, but like others I'm guessing they've upped their game. The magwell outer is larger than normal and will not accept a standard magwell grip. The flash hider is prone to bending as I discovered.

The gun comes apart in seconds by dislodging the 2 pins which are captured and cannot get lost.

I'll just swap out the hop rubber,I was going to do the hop unit as well but that works well enough and is metal.

Running ASG blasters .25./Hi-cap zip mags/7.4  1200 lipo with Deans. As the chrono shows avg 293,7 @ 1016 r/m which equals about 327 (on .2) @16 rps which is above average I believe.I used 1 battery in the morning then changed at lunch time, mixed firing and the gun used 0.8 V and 0.9V
