Maple Leaf have had a hop unit for the SRS in development for a while.
As I run a CJ barrel, I was particularly excited to get my hands on one.
Finally they were released and I got my hot sweaty mitts on one.
Then, it was announced they were a bit poorly.
All credit to ML for the way they are dealing with this.
They haven't given a time line, but they have promised that the items will be replaced.
Now tbh, I have a pretty low opinion of airsoft companies - it seems that there is a thought amongst the industry that because we use toys that our usual retail rights can go hang. - "it broke" - "well what do you expect? It's airsoft! Just buy another one!"
It's a refreshing change to see a manufacturer dealing with the problem head on.
I await my new unit... Hopefully some time this decade.

Good to hear, not had a problem with ml stuff on the whole other than the feed lips on their aeg hops, but that seems more a design feature than a manufacturing fault.

Nice they're being a cut above the normal airsoft retail policy.

Agreed. Excellent attitude and approach to a defect in a hop unit I am rather keen to try. Worth the wait I suspect.
