LCT VSS... maybe?

I have a hankering for a new rif.
I don't need one in the slightest really, unless I desperately want to be OpFor at a milsim. Even then, I could probably argue that bad guys use SRS when they can get em.
Anyway...
Patrolbase advertising got me looking again at the LCT VSS. Now I absolutely love the stock on the Dragunov - and this has pretty much the same stock.
But, I don't particularly want to poor (deliberate misspelling) money into it.

I'd just like something that works from the off, with as little effort from me as possible.
So - anyone have any experience of it?

I've looked in search and can't find anyone that's actually had one, but have found a few wanting one...
TIA 😄

And no, @rocketdogbert, I don't want a gas vector...

I have an LCT VSS, pretty much for the same reason you mention - that stock is frigging beautiful.

It's a solid bit of kit: the small handguard is plastic, the rest is metal/wood (and I think the handguard might actually be polymer IRL?). It's gorgeous IMO. If I had a man cave I'd likely make it a wall piece.

If you've got any specific questions LMK, albeit I'll warn I'm something an airsoft novice. I played with it once, and it worked reliably and shot straight enough, albeit not a dmr as I'd done no work on it! A little front heavy thanks to the big ass integral suppresor, but given my main gun is a scoprion EVO I think that of every friend's sexy metal gun I pick up. Alas, my eyes are bigger than my biceps.

I was actually pointed at your post by a friend, as I've been talking about selling the VSS to get something small and gbb (so far not a vector but I can't promise). As sexy as the VSS is (those curves...), I don't have a man cave and it doesn't suit my playstyle (generally running and faceplanting), so it currently sits tucked away. I need to pull some pics together and get an ad up, so I'll drop a link in here when I have in case you do decide to take the plunge. Regardless, let me know if you want pics / info / general ramblings about it's beauty.

What about a VSS Vintorez made NPO everyone seem to rave about them on the NP facebook cause plenty of discussion between  NPO vs LCT may be an alternative to consider.

I like the look of this one personally: https://39bullets.com/airsoft-rifles/vss-vintorez-s-temnym-snajperskim-prikladom or this one https://39bullets.com/airsoft-rifles/vss-m-classic-npo-aeg

ME!

I'd love the NPO version given the choice but the price is a killer... (although I'd happily pay that for a GBBR version but that's just a wet dream....)

Try Grey shop: https://grey-shop.ru/NPOaeg-VSS-Vintorez  £490 shipped with their prime delivery not sure what the import charges will be but if your looking for an NPO, not a bad price.

I have the AS VAL - basically the same except the stock.  Perfectly decent rifle, have been some reported issues with motor cages cracking but LCT just released a replacement one for them.  Only thing really needs replacing is the hop rubber and maybe the motor.

Whilst I battle my conscience, I may take a punt on that. I know they accept the LCT mags too which is a plus.

I'll battle with you!

I wonder if there's a side by side review anywhere of the LCT vs the NPO...?

Lost the bookmark but there is a forum that had a detailed comparrison. NPO is the most accurate replica and as good as it get's in that sense. LCT mags fit which is a plus. RS optics fit etc.

EDIT: ah different model but close enough

Does it correct the bevel gear alignment issues?

Any links would be great.

Love my Lct As Val, rhop with a 433 prommy tightbore and Modify M110 I'm dead under Dmr limits. The thing is a laser when done right and looks sexy af.

Wouldn't bother with the Pso-1, at most I use 3x on my scope.

The motor is weak, but sufficient for now.

Sposn rt-3 is the best sling for this weapon, you can really brace against it. Makes it a sight easier to aim steady.
