Best AEG for £600?

Iv recently started airsoft and am looking for a gun. I have around £500-£600 to spend and am wondering what’s the best/most reliable gun to buy. Best is obviously a broad statement I know but any help is welcome.

Im looking for an AEG as well nothing for CQB as I already have a CQB gun on order, just want something for woodland play and larger outdoor sites.

Iv been told Krytac Trident MK2 SPR M is a good choice just want other people’s opinions before I go out and purchase something.

Also as I don’t have any know how on how to upgrade my gun something that’s already high end in terms of internals and everything would be ideal as I don’t want to fork out more money on upgrades I know nothing about yet aha.

For that budget have a look at the TM 416 Devgru.

Everybody I've spoken to that owns one swears by it.

the TM416 Devgru wouldn't leave him much left for the rest of the gear he needs for airsoft or even the battery /charger he would need for it so consider that if you need that as well before buying.

@igotfips what CQB  gun do you have? Do you have PPE like goggles or a full face mask?

I have the G&G armament combat machine arp-9 on order from patrol base as well as a drum mag for it.

Honestly you don't need ANOTHER AEG for outdoors the ARP-9 will reach out and touch people too. Not saying you can't have another one if you want one just saying you don't NEED one so don't think you can't compete without getting a expensive long barrel AEG

Your budget covers almost any airsoft AEG. Buy what you want performance out of the box are mostly the same at the high end anyway it's all to do with if you want  certain features or don't want them like EBB, stop on empty, cycling bolts on firing, mosfets. Krytac, VFC avalon, KWA ronin, TM NGRS to name a few brands and product lines in them.

He mentioned already having another gun on order so I assumed he already bought the gear.

I use my ARP9 outdoors all the time, happily hangs with the bigger stuff. In airsoft longer barrel doesn't equal range like it does in real life!

Thanks for your replies lads, the main reason I want a different gun for outdoors is for the feel of it tbh, it doesn't feel right running around with a smaller gun on forest sites etc. Just want a larger AEG for the feel of it tbh and I have been looking at the Tokyo Marui HK 416c any info on that gun I need to know before purchasing?

Have it swapped to Deans before they ship it to you run it on a 7.4v LIPO. Do NOTHING ELSE to it. If your budget stretches you can have a gate titan fitted.

I have seen someone on Youtube by the name of "pain-x" saying he was doing the same thing because it required him to buy a different charger port or something along those lines anyway ahah. As for the Gate Titan whats the price looking like and for it to be fitted?

Larger AEG eh? How about an m14? M14 ebr? Or an ICS galil arm: the one with the wooden handguard and carry handle.

By larger I didn't mean DMR or LMG sized more your standard sized AEG compared to the smaller ARP-9 iv got on order. My friend has the ARP-9 and was nice enough to let me use it. It feels great for CQB but feels to small to be running around with on large outdoor site. Maybe its just me but it just doesn't feel right on larger site we play at.

It's all toy guns no one can tell you what is or isn't right. If you want a certain size go for it.

As for how much it costs to install a gate titan in to a TM NGRS you'd need to ask a retailer like camo raids, firesupport, eagle6.  I would say you'd be luck to pay less for the upgrade than your ARP-9 and drum magazine cost in the first place as the mosfet alone isn't cheap over 100 pounds.

Best quote iv heard since using the forum aha. Too many judgemental people on this forum at times acting like its do or die with certain topics. As for the Gate Titan I think I'll give it a miss until I become a bit more educated before forking out even more money on a gun. Cheers for response

Fitting a Gate Titan to an arp 9 is not something I would recommend.

The gun itself is pretty snappy stock so you would be paying £130 plus fitting for only a small realworld gain.

Titans are best used in mid to high end guns where you have a really good quality base that needs a little performance boost.

As for longer guns I would leave the Krytac as the mk1 were great but now they are established things have started to slide.

It was for a TM HK416c I was saying if his budget stretched he could get one added as well as a deans conversion.

You know the battery on the 416c is in the magazine, right?

ARP-9 + https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/big-dragon-air-force-style-suppressor-long-196mm-x-35mm-black

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, it's just that it's a lot to drop on a hobby during the honeymoon period while you're still on the adrenaline rush.  The classifieds are full of "barely used, leaving hobby" regret purchases.

Now back to the scheduled toy gun porn. ;)

Although I agree with your statement Nd maybe I might be rushing I’m in a fortunate enough position that I can drop a couple thousand on kit and guns and not be too bothered about it in 6 months time if I get bored. Cheers anyway

Not going to lie I very much expect to see your kit on the classifieds but it's your money.
