Some quick and happy feedback on my experience of Fire Support... 🙂

I’ve purchased odds and ends from them in the past - all good - and have recently been dealing with their tech, John, over a custom-built L119A2 (based on the Marui MWS GBBR platform) and some internal work on another Marui MWS, as well as a batch of modded magazines.

Very happy with the end results and I can’t recommend them highly enough! John went the extra mile with the job and is a pleasure to deal with - phoning to check about different stages of the work and very honest with his advice about some of the parts I had chosen to fit.

In all, a great service at exceptionally good rates. I’ll be using them again in future for sure 👍

I have had no issues, my recent order was for £180 and that came to days later.

@Uncle Pauly I am interested in what John did custom work wise to your MWS as they are my local store.

He worked on two MWS for me: both fitted with a load of new internal parts and one of them with a new rail (L119A2 build), which needed a custom fit.

Fitting the parts involved some fettling and machining to get everything working together perfectly. Both RIFs are now firing very ‘snappily’ with a faster cycle rate.

If you’re skilled at this sort of work yourself, then you could probably attempt it DIY. But I personally lack the knowledge and tools to do some of the more tricky aspects (tigger box work and machining, for example). So I wanted a safe pair of hands to do it for me.

What really impressed me was John’s attention to detail in ‘doing the job right’, rather than just getting it done. He invested a lot of effort in thoroughly testing the rifles and ironing out any issues with the new parts. Definitely someone who takes pride in his work.

I do some tech work myself - albeit on bass guitars - and can always spot a good egg when I meet one 😉
