ive just bought a MP5K galaxy (i know nothing about airsoft)

i need a new battery and charger for-it

had a quick look around and can only find the 8.4v 1500mah batteries

where as the gun originaly takes a 8.4v 1100mah

can i use the 1500mah without damageing the gun?

i also need a good charger to go with-it

and advise or links would be great thanks

yeah Mah wont do anything to the gun i think lol, but you dont want to get a 10v battery or a 9.6 even as they will put more wear on the guns internals! 8.4v are good :)

I have a smart charger from Vapex, but im sure if you search ebay for Smart charger small tamiya then it should come up with decent ones :)

you can use the 1500 battery as long as it fits, mp5k's are tight, but it will also run fine on a 7.4 lipo, make sure you get a decent charger, pay's for itself in long run, something like a imax b6

Check out the componentshop they will have the battery and charger you need their I brought a basic 600mah smart charger which will charge the battery you need fine for about £10

very informative site, seems straight forward, measured all of the battery in the gun (to be 100%)

against the measurments on the battery i wanted (all the same)

also very good over the phone with advise, so all should be good
