I recently watched 12 Strong and thought it was a pretty damn good film, good action and the guns I Love! Although every shooting scene I just imagine it's an airsoft skirmish🤣

What everyone's favourite war/shooter movie?

Sicario is pretty cool in the Mexican tunnels etc!

I need to see 13 Hours

I thought Sicario was a real letdown, I had high expectations of it and remember being a bit peed off with after seeing it. Just my opinion though

That film is superb for gun porn if you like older kit. It'll be on netflix if you have access.

+1 on this. Really enjoyed that film. So many G3s!!!

Actually no G3's!

It's all FN FALS.

There's a gun list for the film here.

P38, Browning HP, FN FAL, Enfield No1, Enfield No4, Gustav m/45, MAT-49, LF-57, Vigneron M2, Bren Mk1, Browning M2HB, Browning M1919a4, DShK HMG, FN MAG 58, and a vickers.... That film has an all star cast IMO.

Den of Thieves is a good one.

13 hours kit wise was shit, Gun wise excellent.

Seal Team is good for kit, currently seen using spiritus systems micro flight rigs.

The Punisher (netflix - also pretty good for kit from what i remember as well as pew pews)

I really liked Chappie for their gun painthobs, remind me of the TimeCrisis arcade.

If you shaved off their operator beards, they'd have a backup operator beard underneath.

We Were Soldiers is worth a watch, from before Mel Gibson went full cuckoo bananas.  Although screenplay and direction is by Randall Wallace of Braveheart infamy, who never met a piece of history that he couldn't "improve".

I think it would just grow back as you were shaving it

I tried to shave once, my beard locked me in an arm bar.

Yeah Sicario was shite. I was falling asleep through it, then it ended and I was like "oh. that's it? ok."

For gunporn action shootemup good old fashioned badassery, there's always the Expendables. Also The A Team, the Matrix trilogy, 13 Hours is good, haven't seen 12 strong yet. WW2-wise, Enemy at the Gates, Saving Ryan's Privates, and if you have the stamina, a start to finish marathon of Band of Brothers. Vietnam-wise, We Were Soldiers has TONS of war action, pretty gnarly too. Black Hawk Down.... hmmm I'm looking at our DVD wall trying to think of others
