A quick search on "courier" brings this up:

No idea about PayPal

Which couriers can you use to send rifs and can you use PayPal for payment?

Cheers

PayPal rules previously disallowed anything firearms related, but now permits what is legal in the country concerned

So PayPal can be used again within the rules for airsoft in the UK

I've used both Parcelforce and Hermes. Be sure to mark your package "airsoft toy."

do you have to declare to the counter that it is an airsoft gun or imitation firearm or can you just say its a toy ?

Well it’s not a toy is it?  I bet that it has “this is not a toy”’ on the side

However “airsoft toy” is a fair one

You must declare if it has an air system, (which can technically include parts of airsoft guns) or batteries etc - and ensure it’s properly marked, packaged and using an appropriate method

If it’s just a RIF with no “restricted” elements, and you’ve checked it’s ok with the carrier then just make sure there is a fair declaration for when it passes through an X-ray scanner along the way
