I know my MWS is gucci'd up but I do love the classic look. My WE M4 basically looked like that the 2 or so years I used it

Any 1911 fans out there? Here's the latest build that I tried. It won't be replacing my glock for skirmishes anytime soon, but a cool build nonetheless..

Did you know people do bowling with 1911's? Apparently it's called "pin shooting" and there are specific styles of 1911's catered to that. Here's the post that inspired this build -> https://www.thearmorylife.com/bowling-with-a-pistol-a-guide-to-pin-shooting/

Wanted to get a short compensator like the real-steel examples in the article, but couldn't find any similar so I went with a 45" muzzle chamfer instead. With the looser tolerances of airsoft it doesn't look as blended to the bushing as RS, but I think I like it. I had to learn the hard way that stainless takes a lot longer than you think to grind out using hand tools...😅

In certain angles it makes the bore of the outer barrel look bigger than it actually is

I loved my kwc 1911 but it's too heavy to be a sidearm really

Nice to see people actually using them in skrimishes! I might get some extra mags and try it out as well..

tbh I wish companies made aftermarket steel inner frames for the 1911 like they do for marui glocks; even with the aluminum kit and stainless parts it's ~.8 kg

Very nice.

Could I ask what the base gun was?

And who makes the Springfield Armory slide?

Thanks!

The base gun was a TM MEU. I used the frame of a springfield MEU kit from Guarder, and the slide is a hi capa 5.1 slide also from Guarder.

I wanted to have the adjustable hi capa sights on a 1911 frame, along with rear-only slide serrations like a SA range officer.

Rest of the parts are a mix of AM, Guarder, and Nova

Just thought I'd dress it up with bits I've already got. It needs a bigger scope, a more solid bipod and to get rid of the red paint. Then I think I just need a stronger spring and a couple of spare mags and it's ready to go to a game.

Certainly an AK sling, had it knocking about so decided to use it. Bought it a few years ago off ebay. Fits the 303 very nicely tbh.

Lol thank you !, You can get unissued British ones on Ebay too, and I probably will at some point. But concentrating on replacing some fittings and sorting the wood colour first. The 303 was the first gun I handled, shot and learned to field strip at school, but ours were more of a mid oak sort of colour so aiming for that.

Thats the unissued Brit ones.

Wow. I literally have 1 rifle and 2 pistols

Give it time...

They tend to accumulate 😄

To add a bit of context:  About half were bought new and the most I spent on one was £370 (M41A)

My fave at the moment is the Lonex M4 BAW

I'll have to do a video on it as the kick is unbelievable.

Oh don't get me wrong, I've bought dozens of Rifs over the years, I just don't collect them. I'll get something new and sell the old one. Most I've had at any one time (nit including pistols) is maybe 4. That being said, I'm sorely tempted to get an M41a 😍
