Still not a valid excuse for heresy.....

I’ll give you heresy... M4’s aren’t safe either!

I don’t think I’ve posted this since picking up one of the Leupold D-Evo sights. The magnifier is a bit of a pig to zero, but it’s a really cool concept.

See i'm not bothered by that, as m4's go thats nowhere near the worst offender.

You know what's worse than an M4 stock on an AK? Bullpupped AK.

As in pre upgraded?

It's an absolute monster of a rifle, yet to have a chance to field it properly though :(

Slowly making the small changes to improve the looks of my GAT.

Changed the pistol grip ... The new one breaks up the sea of tan and feels much more comfortable than the stock grip which was stippled and quite sharp on the palm.

Also the Leupold LCO replica arrived and installed.

i dunno, he's at least not put an m4 stock on it.

not a massive fan of the railed top covers but i can respect the choice compared to trying to get a siderail mounted properly.

Hade the side rail but like you said getting it to sit correctly is a nightmare.

Had a crack at painting, dirtying and distressing a gun.

Not quite up to @GearTech standards (he shall remain the master 😅), but I'm happy with it!

Sprayed in Halfords Khaki:

Then abused with dark brown washes and attacked with various things:

(Need to dust off the paint chippings/sanding)

Looks good and the wear is all in the right places. So often you see weathering jobs and there are scratches and wear where it makes not sense.

I'd say 'Excellent job on that'

And I do like my things worn 😁

A good bit of wear is always nice.

Socom Gear Barrett M82A1 V1 semi-AEG - a LOT of steel on this monster, just the barrel and the muzzle break are made out of aluminum, the rest is steel.

VERY heavy and came with upgraded gearbox and 650mm Madbull inner barrel from the factory.

Always wanted to go for the Socom Gear M107 GBB instead, but somehow never got my hands on one.

Now I'm thinking of parting with this M82 due to a few expensive new other guns, so if you're interested and willing to spend a lot of money, let me know :D

This screams for an HPA conversion by the way ;)

Figured we needed more representation in the states, so I got another L series. Daytona L85A3 to go along with my STAR L86A2.
