Finally got myself a decent rifle, should have some sneaky black parts for it in a coupe of weeks, included battery and charger are moot tho seeing as I already bought a couple of 7.4 lipo cells for it

Brand new AS02 in FDE.

Still stock, clocks in at 1.46J (too powerful for muh shithole country).

Optic is a 4x32 with a mini dot and a one piece qd mount.

Shoots fine with .30s, will have to see once I change the spring and get a nice flat/r-hop.

The bolty? It’s a well mb4403 from memory

Yeah, I searched for it, they've really stepped up their game... Does the magazine work or is it a dummy and are they still using the old mags? (I might ave to replace mine. O.o)

Its a functioning mag. To be honest I’ve not used it in a game yet, needs work (as all snipers bar a few do).

Hey gents.

I hate M4's but I jumped on this one last year as it was going cheap brand new at a local shop. (ICS CXP-15 Proline metal). It was a pistol style only M4 with no stock. I bought it to be upgraded straight away.

Prommy Tightbore barrel

Maple leaf flat hop.

ICS Metal Hop unit.

Short stroked piston.

New spring.

New ICS pistol grip (Old one broke during the upgrade process, the new style grip needed a lot of fettling and swearing from my tech to go on)

Mosfet.

ICS QRS Stock

SRU foregrip

Holo sight.

Canted Ironsights (Because they look kickass.)

Managed to blow the fuse first game as it was the one for 7.4 lipos, need to get the 30A. Also the ICS high caps weren't feeding fast enough in full auto so had to use my Nuprol midcaps.

I also have the Mag short midcaps, which looks better do you think? If I am to use the Mag short midcaps i'll need to get a stronger spring for them to feed well.

For an M4 it looks alright... I guess...

I tried skirmishing it a couple of weeks ago but it chronoed too hot at 366 FPS. I may be lopping a coil or two off tonight if I have time and play it on Sunday.

Problem with the VN mags I have is that they are hot glued together. I do have upgraded Maple springs to go in, but no way to install them without destroying the mag. I will need to look into different mags.

Ah right thats a real shame I love the short mag look been looking for some too but they seem to be either discontinued or hi caps,I'll keep looking if I get any luck I'll message you if you want and if you'd do the same I'd appreciate it.....you could see if theres a way to warm up the glue???

All the best to you

I could warm up the glue no problem. Putting it back together without it looking like a sloppy mess and affecting the integrity of the mag is something else!

I hate you right now I've spent my pocket money already but am now looking at you're ICS see what prices they go for I was going to build something along the lines of the MCX Rattler as there isnt one in airsoft but now I see this all I'd need is a folding stock and I'm one happy bunny

Nice one!!!

Same concept mate, love what you've done 😁

I went the whole hog with the SRU kit and run it with my magpul mid caps.

Custom length tightbore and prowin hop up only at this stage, based on a G&G Firehawk so rof is pretty high.

Need to get it skirmished though 🙄

It's not a 115 either, it looks a lot like an L96 receiver on a folding stock body.   Barrel profile, magazine size and muzzle device are all wrong for an L115A3.

The latest Frankenstein beast from the rdb workshop....

Early Guarder aluminium slide & barrel, modified SAI trigger, early (correct trades) VFC frame & trigger chassis, steel Guarder hammer chassis, WE BBU & hop/barrel assembly, TM hammer internals, WE mag with no hole full trade base, TM night sights.

I was just going to sell it, but I actually quite like it 🙈8CCB3F0F-FB63-4622-B25C-0C6E226EB246.thumb.jpeg.9c3a448c76bd2233c800c42e50aa457c.jpeg
