Gun picture thread

A project i've been working on, needed a race gun for cqb, it is very light and maneuverable, decently rapid with a great trajectory.  Made from a second hand CM, my bits draw and some choice ebay & forum purchases, hope you like!

List:

- G&G Firehawk donor gun.

- SRU AEG carbine kit - I really like this look, but the kit does need some filing to ensure correct fitment, yet to be seen how durable it is.

- Madbull Noveske 7in outer barrel.

- Madbull Daniel Defense 7in rail.

- Madbull Strike Industries cookie cutter - f'ing expensive, the only part i needed to get full price......

- Butterfly charging handle.

- Strike Industries Fang trigger guard.

Internal - this is my project gun to get into and properly understand internals, no changes to gearbox or motor yet though!:

- Steel tightbore with prowin hop unit - flat hopped, about to get sent off to get the barrel shortened.

Accessories:

- InForce WML.

- Haley Strategic 45 offset adapter.

- MagPull puicatinny rail covers.

- IMI front and rear flip up sights.

- Sig Saur red dot - need to make a perspex insert to protect the lens.

I'll post another pic in a second......

Did you add any paint, or is that the original paint?

Also, do you plan on doing the polymer?

work in progress:

L119A2%20Long_zpsvniw28ca.jpg

TM M4 NGRS converted to a L119A2 Long.

Parts -

Angry Gun Long L119A2 rail

SF Slash hider

Suppressor

low profile gas block

Laylax blank lower receiver

G&P LMT Pistol grip

AFG-2

Acog with RDS

Magpul sling adapter

Magul stock

magic pin fitted to upper and lower receiver

Work done so far:

Modded GBB Magpul sling adapter to fit NGRS (basically dremel the bejesus out of it)

Modded stock pad to accept Lipo (Stock will be changed to the correct tan one when it arrives)

added extra rail cutout on top of upper receiver

modeled a C7 cocking handle and 3D printed as a prototype and making sure its a good fit before getting some laser cut (green thing)

Things still to do:

fit the correct stock

get the trades done

add a 620V torch and dual switch for the torch and Peq

fit a mosfet (BTC, DTM or Gates when they eventually release it)

get the C7 lever laser cut

The only paint is the black. The LCT G3 is a steel body, so what you see there is metal with a layer of oil.

No plans to do anything to the plastics, They interchange so having an older body with new furniture isn't a problem for the loadout. I may at some point get the wood kit for it as it's a direct replacement and not overly expensive.

yeah and that's where I got them from along with a couple of the sight rails

Think you would do well listing on eBay tbh. Such a simple, yet effective mod'.
