  • It is the BUYER - the person you sell it to that needs to have defense - YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS
  • the BUYER HAS TO BE 18+ even if you spray it 2-tone ( Immitation Firearm or IF )
  • they need to have a defense/ukara membership - plus they will have to be 18 to be ukara'd if sold as RIF

wtf did them bullets comes from - oh they gone now

it is when selling airsoft gun that the SELLER is required to check the BUYER is eligible

(IF purchased by 18 - RIF by some adult with defense)

YOUR ARSE IS AT RISK IF YOU SELL TO u18 an IF

OR ANYBODY WHO DOESN'T HAVE DEFENSE FOR RIF (also must be 18+)

On no account can an u18 buy a IF & a ukara member will have to be 18 to enter on database anyway

This is the basic bit of the legal side of the VCRA act more info is in the sections...

Kudos for enquiring

You can sell to anyone as long as they are over 18 and they have a defence so either ukara or a site membership

All you need to do is check them , you can do a online check on the ukara site or you can ring a retailer and ask them to check it for you

Just to add to this though, the person responsible, the one facing breaking a law is the "seller" even if the buyer is the one which presents a defence. You need to be convinced that the buyer is eligible to purchase with enough confidence that you could defend yourself in court/to police questioning if facing an offence for selling a RIF. Not that it would get that far.
