I'm ordering this next week ICS Transform4 CXP-UK1 Long EBB Airsoft Gun - Black (rear wired not front wired like in picture)

http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/ICS-Transform4-CXP-UK1-Long-EBB-Airsoft-Gun-Black_A1LAUN.aspx#.V98NATUYExI

Now i'm in a bit of confusion as the website states 7.4 lipo but others like state 11.1 lipo.

Now my question is of course if anyone has experience with ICS AEG guns as to which lipo to purchase

Any help would be appreciated

Looks like the one I got that is rear wired and I use this battery in the stock tube.

I wired my gun to deans connection and use this charger.

I have the ICS MX5 and use 11.1 with that and have done from day 1 although I did fit a mosfet to protect the trigger contacts. Its been perfect on 11.1. Does the CXP have a mosfet as standard?

CXP's don't have them fitted as standard, I have heard any issue with it firing in burst on semi with a high c rating 11.1, I personal run my hog with a 7.4 25c wired to deans and its perfect for me.

7.4 is just fine and dandy for pretty much most stuff out there. The Scorpion EVO is one of the few examples I can think of that actually needs an 11.1 to work properly, but such guns are few and far between. Apart from a couple of 11.1s all my batteries are small 7.4v in the 20-something C region, just with a couple of different types of plugs (and that's only because I've never gotten around to changing everything to deans). They just work with basically everything.
