One of the latest ones I had custom made based on the rigs seen in use with the SBS & The Royal Marine Mountain & Arctic Warfare Cadre back in the 80s...

Cheers guys.

Well, Im a huge fan of Old School British kit so anything related to that attracts my interest. But Id say I first really got interested in them from learning about the rare types used almost exclusively with more 'specialist units' back in the Falklands & such, which I had custom made...

As various chest rigs came on the scene in the late 80s/90s & were very popular in places such as Northern Ireland it just made sense to source as many as possible to add to the collection & it gave me more loadout options to use with my L85A1. I particularly like sourcing & using some of the lesser seen/known types such as this 'Comkit' Rig...

Also, I tend to find them more practical & functional to use for gaming over a full belt kit. Although, saying that, I do still use 44/58 Pattern, PLCE & such just depending on the look/era im going for on game day.
