If it is 600 New Zealand Dollars [believe that they are a NZ company ?] then that makes the Ballistic Ordinance Sound System GS203-A1 approximately £276. But if US Dollars then £400+. It makes it a specialist piece of kit and unlikely to be for mainstream airsoft when many have guns worth much less.

Edit: depends on UK retailer mark up, etc, how much the unit will actually cost. Ear protection could also be required.

It's a very good sound emitter, but it's still just a speaker, yeh.

Anyhoo, at least someone in airsoft is still innovating. Perhaps a larger manufacturer will step in with something cheaper and offer some competition. New concepts are never a bad thing, even if it's this expensive to the consumer initially.

Missed the USD part. Even though NZD gives better exchange rate, it is still an expensive extra. The size is also a bit too large for my liking, no doubt necessary for the acoustic effect but I would prefer a smaller box to attach to a side rail if I bought one. Still a better idea than using a drone.

At least it would hide that horrible whine that many guns have, and for a milsim would give the game more realism. It is a very different experience to have contact with the enemy when using blank 5.56 rounds during training or exercise, gives better understanding to 'going loud'.

They seem to have managed to overcomplicate the very simple process of setting light to propane to move a big striker... What is the point in the key card? Extra money for something pointless. If you leave your rifle unattended then its your fault if it goes walkies.
