$140?! Add shipping and import tax etc you're probably looking at £100+ at least. For that kind of money you could get a mil-spec quality chest rig or plate carrier!

TMC is decent but about what you'd expect for Chinese clone stuff (from their other products)

Same kind of quality as Emerson I'd guess. But not as good as Flyye / Helikon etc.

It's alright, but its not £90 worth of alright.

also the force recon looks a bit .... sh*t. bulky clumpy and sweaty. i wouldn't be spending my own cash on it, but its your cash if that's the style you are after.

Consider the Warrior Ricas, much much better for a similar style. or if you want cheep, the ebay £40 unbranded jobbies will be the same quality and finish as the TMC for more than half the price.

all of these are better value imho:

Mr B I take it you didn't notice the free shipping

Nope haha I didn't, sorry, but since it's from HK so you're probably still gonna get hit with 20% customs tax at least....so still another £18-£20 on top of that

Only got a pair for of TMC trousers and they are not that great. The Emerson kit is FAR better quality.

I have not heard many good stories about TMC.

Interesting....

I was pretty sure they're different brand names of the same company.

You could get:

or

http://www.uktactical.com/p-10290-warrior-ricas-compact-base-olive-drab.aspx

Then look at getting cheap mag pouches, there's a bundle on there which is around £150 which is 5 mag pouches and 2 utility pouches(for the DCS)

or

That works out cheaper than buying them individually. Up to you really, the warrior pouches are nice quality but you could get cheaper ones which may or may not start coming apart after a few months use.

Definitely different, seems quite a few think so- probably because they both do copies of the crye precision gear but they're quite different if you look closely

Warrior Assault Systems is defo worth the money - the kit is really well made and tough and comfy. It's totally up there with the top spec kit. They did have a run of shit quality stuff for a while (like Blackhawk and everyone else) but now use only the best materials like ITW buckles and genuine Cordura etc.

RE TMC however, is good gear for airsofting. My son used a 6094B for a year and it has lasted really well. It's for sale actually if you were interested - it's got plates front, back and side (fake plates). It's in Khaki which is a good colour for matching any terrain/camo.

My final word on this is that TMC gear is some of the best "cheapo chinese" gear out there. I am a right kit slut and I use some TMC bits.

TMC and Emerson are definitely different companies.

Both pretty cheap and cheerful, there's no way on earth I'd ever pay £100 for anything made by either company when you could spend the same amount on Warrior or Condor kit that's borderline indestructible.

Fair play then. As you say they both seem to copy the same stuff so that's most likely where I got confused!

+1 on the Warrior gear too, I have a WAS 901 rig and for airsoft purposes it's pretty much indestructible.

I used two types of gear, where was label TMC.

One of them - made of something like 600d Nylon, very soft(it was some pouches like 2x2M4). I don't like it.

Another - 1000d(or 900d) cordura by touch and it is good for me, I have MBSS in this fabric, olive drab color. Besides fabric, I like very hard molle, it looks very reliable.
