Mod note: Yes, you can discuss any airsoft-related listing from any website in this thread. This includes listings on AF-UK itself.

Please stay on topic (i.e. about these items). Off-topic posts will be removed.

Note to self: don't read this thread while the wife can peer over my shoulder! 😨

This is why I always keep a gay PornHub tab open so that I don't get caught reading about airsoft.

Fixed that for you :P

If it's genuinely unused, I don't see an issue really.  If you happen to be close for collection, it's £15 cheaper after postage from Taiwan Gun.

with no consumer/retailer support? Nope, that’s the point

I guess I just assume you're not missing much after sales support from somewhere like Taiwan Gun considering how bad most airsoft retailers are/were.  It's actually worth while?

Even if TG don’t, PP and/or your bank card will, but TG  have a decent rep.

I suppose.  I've used PP protection on private sale issues though so kind of moot but I appreciate you're in a stronger position with a retailer.

it’s funny , on here people constantly quote that once a pew is out of the box, fired or not , it’s re sale value is approx 60% of new - simply because it is not new

I feel lots of hypocrisy about to avalanche upon me ,

I did the maths , this is miles off, I smell shite 😉

Plus if I change my user name to EnidNo7  & post some back up shite , would it not also look suspicious ?, I got a good sense of smell .

had a beer, I may now be a bit drunk cynical & regret posting this in the morning 🤭

#5 & #2 : over n out

EnidNo7 🙄

It's a general rule that applies to everything, not only airsoft related stuff.

Now don't get me wrong, one can ask whatever price he wants, and he may got lucky and sell an used item for its full retail price (or even higher as I did with my first AEG, made a hefty €50 profit out of it, buyer was particularly mentally challenged), but if he does then he can't complain about being showcased here.

I agree it's overpriced, but I suspect the seller is hoping that a noob is "blinded" by the John Wick hype & will be unaware of the RRP.

An SSG24 with no discernible upgrades for £700, with no warranty
OR
a brand new one with warranty for €464 shipped... (about £389)

😱🤔😱

It's 750 of you want the scope.

Such a bargain.

Shitpost? lol. No.
That would be your ad.
This is a thread for highlighting over priced rifs. I would say that nearly twice what someone can buy one for new counts as over priced.
If you look through this thread, peeps take it one of two ways and it shows the rest of the community the cut of their jib.
It seems you have chosen to show yours.
Generally, stuff in the classifieds sells at around 65% of whatever the lowest available RRP is. Doesn't matter what you bought it for, nobody cares. (and there's no import duty / VAT from Austria).
And the haggling aspect has been discussed elsewhere in this thread - nobody's going to expect to haggle down by over 50%.
Anyway, do with that as you will. Maybe swear a bit more and insult a few more people?

So by your logic, if the gun is sold three more times, and sent fully insured by an expensive courier, it’s  worth an additional £150? You sir, are rude, uninformed and breaking forum rules. It will not end well I’m afraid
