Chances of this actually functioning after 8years, seals will be gone at the very least

"i have never fired it. i dont know if the previous owner had used it or not i cant remember, bought it 8 years ago. as far as i know it is in full working order when it was sold to me" = "almost certainly not working now"

so a third hand gun that's 8 years old of unknown functionality has only devalued by 15 quid that's impressive!

Well, it's got that "actually exists and is for sale" premium on it.  Plenty of places are looking pretty thin on stock at the moment. :(

Only £600 for the whole job lot! I wonder if that's some sort of uber expensive red detailing on the RIF which you can only find in the deep depths of Mordor hence the price or maybe those knee pads on the belt add to some realism which for sure justify the asking price... Oh it's the Nuprol case isn't it...?

Hey, everyone knows that custom paracord wrapping is valued around at least $135 an hour :D

Can't say for sure this is over optimistic but I think it will struggle to sell. My main question is why? I just don't understand buying a £400+ gun then replace pretty much every part.

"never seen a game. just back garden shooting."

I'm just picturing him kneeling on those knee pads, wearing his mesh facepro, 3-round-bursting away at a cardboard box, with a sight-protector on his gun.  Sadder than pineapple on pizza.

"All in all I'm looking at around £800 for this as to date this rifle has cost me in excess of £1500."  How the actual... oh, right, Kingdom of Airsoft.

I wonder how much it will cost for Luke at Negative Airsoft to fix it...  I might actually pay to watch the rant video. :D

1) Stop topping-shaming people!

2) In my experience it's very difficult to find someone willing to pay any more than £600 for a secondhand RIF. Regardless of what it cost to put together.

Well some important points to take comment here.

1. pineapple on pizza? If you live in Hawaii I’m sure it’s very popular there. However chicken on pizza that’s entirely different. I mean who does that? Pineapple and Ham kinda works. But chicken. You may as well have a chicken BLT!

2. 2nd hand guns and upgrades. That’s a contentious point and I’m sure will be open for much debate. Two of my guns are with KoA having work done to them. Regardless of what it’s cost me, I know for sure that I’ll never get a reasonable return back if I ever sell them. But for me that’s not an issue coz I’ve no plans to sell them. Like my Systema they are keepers.

Going to avoid your first point in order to keep this thread somewhat on topic, haha.

Let's look at it this way. If someone you didn't know was selling a KOA upgraded Marui recoil, would you give them say £800 for it? Afterall, fancy RIF, fancy problems!. Also, if there was an issue, would Sam be happy to pass on any warranty to another owner?

Tomato sauce, fresh basil and mozzarella from a buffala not a buffalo thank you

Hell yes! Perfect Pizza!

Also when I was living and working there I got to know a shady person from Naples who owned a Pizzeria who incidentally had some shady acquaintances from Sicily but that's a different story for another time... Needless to say his signature pizza 'Donne Pepe' was three ingredients.. Rocket, Mozzarella and San Daniele prosciutto! Sweet Mary mother of Jesus that was a pizza!!!

Heh, can't deny, some places really can't cook for shit....

There are different ways of thinking when it comes to pizza. The true pizza is just tomato sauce, mozzarella di bufala (you could translate that into buffalo mozzarella) and just a couple of basil leaves, thin crust (1/1.5 cm thick, crispy-ish) and the base kinda supports itself when sliced.

Fries and wurstels are a common topping for youngsters, vinegar is a thing too when people start putting vegetables on (especially a sour type of salad I absolutely can't remember the name of, coupled with proper parmesan slices).

One of my all time favourites is speck (a smoked salty kind of ham) and mascarpone cheese (sweet-ish, to compensate for the speck).

There is also a restaurant in my town that recently opened up one in London (called La Pia), they make a softer, thicker kind of pizza that has become a trademark for them (I like it but as with all things, YMMV), and it's basically my town's street food :D

Then of course you see those cunts putting fucking pineapple on pizza and you start hearing voices in your head that tell you to cleanse the earth from such heresy...

I'm not sure about the transferable warranty.... but for me I'd not pay stupid money for a 2nd hand RIF regardless of the upgrades coz there is no guarantee it will pop down the road... these pews pews are all mechanical and subject to failure... period. If you're gonna spend good money on upgrades with either do it yourself and then you have no one to blame or get an experienced well known specialist to do it for you and the warranty sits with them (as long as you don't open the gearbox).

To be fair the bar was owned by Sicilians, and I like pineapple on a pizza. So what do I know!

I ate 3 pizzas when I was in Italy, Florence, Signa and Pisa. I wasn't particularly impressed with any of them and I went out of my way for the "Locals" establishments. Though the Mortadella in Signa was out of the this world and one of the few things I miss now I no longer eat pork.

I stand by my comments on Maltese wine though. Excellent, though they struggle to make enough of it to keep in stock on the island, let alone export it. I have never been able to find a Maltese wine in the UK.

On the topic of pizza. French fries. Yup there you have it. And guess where it was served. Italy. I’ll say it again... in Italy. I do believe someone asked for vinegar too at the time.

Where did you eat in Pisa @Asomodai?

Because I've lived there for 5 years during my failed attempt at becoming an architect, I was actually born in there and still own the house my parents met and lived in before moving to La Spezia (some 70 kilometres NW of Pisa along the coast, where we still live today), that I now rent to students.

The good places are in the old part of the town, mostly in the small alleys between the river and the main train station. Almost none of them make pizza though, they do offer local dishes (a lot of meat, Tuscany is famous for their steaks and meat based dishes) at good prices.

The restaurants you see near the tower are really terrible, you might as well eat at McDonald's, you get better food and pay less money..

Yup... I thought the same... When I saw this type of pizza in Italy I thought the world had gone bonkers... It's a hit with the tourists I was told and the kids love it.... Suffice to say I did not dare have one for fear of ridicule by my peers lol..

Are we gonna start talking RIFS again or continue with pizza?? lol

If this was a pizza  this ain’t sure as hell a pepperoni laden one but more of a pineapple with mascarpone one. Nice paint job erm eh? I wonder what Luke did to this that cost £400?

Hold ya horses! There’s a video about it’s build. I’ve not heard Luke swear yet in the first 2 mins. WTF 😂
