Spot on bud . 👍

mind I wouldn’t say no to your 42 ! 😇

you would at the minute, it's been out of action for a long while during this conversion, currently got the air system ok but i've been having to upgrade the mag to cope with the requirements, currently working on setting up an m60 mag mech to run off the old motor from the f2000, i suppose i could have accepted it as it was but it's become a project of curiosity at this point :P

For some reason I thought the JPC has a stitched crye tag across the top left hand side just under the shoulder strap/diagonal from the edge of the plate bag, not sure if I've made that up or what but after looking through marketplace and seeing a whole host of dreamers maybe I was blinded by the insane amount of shit!!!

Anyone need some glass tent pegs?

Wonder if it’s Crye ’lite’ ? “yea it’s a real Crye JPC !” , but it’s not really .

Bit like the Porsche boxter, it’s a Porsche, but it’s not really. Its sold to the guy who as a kid said “one day I’ll be so successful I’ll buy my self a Porsche !” But unfortunately they wern’t and couldn’t afford a real Porsche, but never forgot this boast so Porsche launched the boxter to help soothe there failed ego ?

😂😂😂😂😂

It’s a crye 1.0, only way of telling these are legit are the little size tags; which this one has.

@clumpyedge the crye JPC 2.0 has the little crye black label on the left side, not the 1.0.

Thanks for clearing that up mate, I know I had seen the label but wasn't sure which it was on. Strange that the JPC 1.0. doesn't really have anything other than what I can only describe as a Mil coloured size label and nothing else.

Very odd.

Needs a tag on the Plate Bag like the 2.0 has.

not really the price per-say, but this feels like it must surely be on the borderline of legality given it's using what appears to be explosives to lob rounds?:

The mortar rounds and TLSFX mortar is totally legal as they are sold by TLSFX (obviously as they are named in the ad) what wouldn't be legal is them trying to ship them using a non regulated courier. They would ideally either have to do collection only or arrange the appropriate courier (which even some airsoft shops seem to fall foul of as I've had deliveries of large pyro orders with no specialist courier)

The mortar rounds alone would come to about £115 from TLSFX if I recall their prices right. Not sure how much their (the TLSFX) mortar is but the home made one I'd scrap.

fair enough, i hadn't heard of them but i was under the impression using explosive propellant automatically made it a firearm regardless of power (at least that's how i understand it).

In fairness I was under the same impression but the mortar rounds have been around for a considerable amount of time and never been called into question. The home made mortar though is questionable.

I’ll have you know that mortar was hand made by Mongolian artillery dwarfs by the light of a full moon , hence the asking price ! 😉

This caught my eye. I thought "wow! £40 for all these is a decent price!". Then I read the description..

Saw the same thing, surely being 4 he could have just listed each one separately....

Why, what’s the point of filling the classified thread with individual listed items when I can have them all in one post? Does it really make that much of a difference?

Because its a deceiving advert, says £40 in the advert title for 4, I and other interpreted that as all four for £40 which isn't the case. Change the title and maybe people wouldn't have picked up on it.

plus people don't usually pay that much for single secondhand unbranded red dots, hence why its in the "dreamers" thread😉

It’s not a deceiving advert and there is no intent to deceive.

The advert clearly states £40 each item, posted. A price has to be added to the post and it’s either put £40 or £120. Anyone who goes into that advert thinking they’re going to pick those 4 items up for £40 total, clearly has no idea of the value of the individual items. A quick scroll through the threads will show that items are regularly clumped together in one post with a price for one of the items on the main page. I’ve use this method often when selling multiple items and never had it questioned. It just shows the importance of reading an advert before looking to buy.

£40 is a starting price. There’s usually negotiation in sales. Just because I can’t remember which brand they are doesn’t mean they’re cheap, nasty knockoffs.
