I'm looking for one to do a CQB with near me.

I would ideally like a full metal body and decent gearing as I don't want to be faffing with it. Ideally battery, although gas is always welcome.

I've seen these:

But unsure which is the better in terms of manufacturing.

Any advice?

I thought ASG was re-branded CYMA, so they'll prob be the same apart from one having a flash-hider and stock.

I looked at getting MP5K and would have either gone for the Classic Army for metal, or TM for plastic.

It's another gun TM to a high-cycle version of so yet again that's where my vote goes!

Having seen and handled them both I'm pretty sure the ASG isn't the CYMA. It feels a lot more like the CA one to be honest. I bought the CA version so I could have the A3 non ambi fire selector.

I would tell you to go for the Tokyo Marui MP5K, but obviously it's plastic. If that's not a huge issue with you, this gun is my favourite gun of all time. Check out my channel if you want to see what it's truly capable of. This is where I bought the gun:

Good luck finding one. I love MP5s.

Can second the TM high cycle MP5K - a lot of fun.

That said the rate of fire isn't going to be a factor as most CQB sites are semi only. Still a fun gun though.
