hi guys, i have a £300-£400 budget on my next gun and im looking for a m4 style AEG. preferably not a cqb gun as i will being playing at woodland sites. Decent fps, range and rate of fire with a full metal body would be great. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

cheers, louis

I don't see how you couldn't have a full metal receiver if you're spending £300+

It's not so easy to say because there are so many airsoft AR-15 style guns.

I'd recommend one of these (http://uk.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AEG_AEP_Magpul_Magpul_PTS_RM4_CQB_ERG_Black.htm / http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/pts-pts-rm4-cqb-erg-p3303) they're within your budget but there's only the CQB version in stock.

They are awesome from what I have heard, and plus you get the recoil / vibration.Yes it says CQB and is shorter but in airsoft, it's actually the barrel quality that matters more than the length and bore. So you will probably have the same performance as the Scout version anyway.

Plus I know there's one or two guys on here who have one - I was going to buy one too but decided I'm going to buy an AUG then get a GBBR M4.

If 416s are your thing:

Have a look at G&P too, they start from around £250

If you can get an RM4 then do it. I have the RM4 ERG CQB and it is bang on the limit fps and is perfect in woodland

Here's a list of a couple of guns from wolf armouies it's a pretty good shop it's where I've brought all my gear from.

G&P enforcer- http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/product.asp?page=product&id=GP744

SRC m4 SR4 SD- http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/product.asp?page=product&id=GE0509TMII

SRC m4 SR4 - http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/product.asp?page=product&id=GE0512TMI

Dytac invader - http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/product.asp?page=product&id=DYAEG07BK

G&P m4 sentry - http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/product.asp?page=product&id=GP901M

They also do packages where you get 2 battery's, a mag, silicone and a chargerfor £99 http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/product.asp?page=product&id=98XPSBAEG

I have the G&P enforcer which is the top link I put and it is a amazing gun it comes with a red dot sight and a vertical grip it shoots really fast and is a solid gun with with no wobble at all. I spend about £430 and got the gun a extra mag and then the battery package. You might want to spend a little more then £400 as you need a mask and a tactical vest if you want one

I have this vest and it's pretty good- http://www.amazon.co.uk/USMC-Tactical-Assault-Airsoft-Olive/dp/B0041300WK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1425213722&sr=8-2&keywords=Airsoft+vest

Yes ive got the T4-18 Gen 3. Nice rifle. Some have been talking on here a out MOSFET problems but I havent experienced it on mine.

The T4-18 is supposed to be a H&K 416 rather than an M4.
