Computer type PC/Desktop

System Manufacturer/Model Number 3XS custom build

OS Windows 10

......

Now that's a proper corner. Congrats on the setup, I'm planning on getting a similar monster as well from 3XS combined with an ROG Swift curved. If I manage to secure that, somebody won't be happy, but she always needs new shoes.

Btw what chair you use ?

Only recently upgraded my monitor from a 1080p one, but 1440p is staggering. Had it set up in a dual monitor fashion but wasn't too keen, so back to the single 1440p for now. Looking to pick up another SSD in the future and possibly upgrade my CPU, but I'm happy with 'er for now.

Ooh pc people!

My PC was designed to be quiet and low powered for it's performance. I keep meaning to pick up an Arctic Freezer CPU cooler, but the stock intel one is surprisingly good in this case. Aside from games it is used for light photo editing and lately is now doing video editing (slowly!).

Processor : Intel i5 4460 3.2GHz
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A
RAM: 2x4GB HyperX Fury CL10
Graphics: Asus 2GB Geforce GTX 750Ti
HDD: Boot Drive = 240GB SanDisk Ultra 2
Storage/backup =  2 x WD 1TB Green - RAID 1
Case: Coolermaster Silencio 652S
PSU: Coolermaster VS 550W Semi-Mod

This year is meant to be upgrade year for it. I was going to get a new graphic card for it, but with the prices through the roof for them right now I'm now looking for some decent price dd4 ram, and I'll just go new CPU/board/ram this year. With the hopes gfx card prices come down next year.

@Arwen just consider getting second hand gpu, GTX 970 still can handle most game at max settings and they not really expensive this days.

Hell even my 960 still gets the job done. Metro 2034 on maximum settings at 60+ fps. No problem!

@RAZ0R @Gepard, I've been looking at the GeForce GTX 980 Ti and the 970. Swaying to the 980 TI for the extra cuda cores and bandwidth to be honest. Finding myself doing more and more video and photo editing where they would be useful. But for both, the prices are way over what they should be so I am loathed to pay for them right now. I normally don't have a problem with buying used, but GFX cards as easily abused, so I tend to buy them new, or at least with a used warranty.

If I can get single stick of "ok" 8GB DDR4 ram at some point between now and October for less than £50, then I'll pick up either a i7-8700K or i5-8400, a new motherboard and a couple more WD 1TB drives to change the RAID to 5 and have a bit more space. Maybe treat myself to a super quick m.2 boot drive

Mobo crapped out on me so I bit the bullet and ordered a Ryzen 5 2600, MSI Mortar and 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM.

Figured it was about time I upgrade anyway.
