Hi guys im kinda new to airsoft and was thinking of buying some bbguns to get started with target practise and then go to a few skrimishes to get a UKARA membership, but i am kinda stuck on what gun i should start with. My choices are at the moment:

https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/Well-D90H-Fully-automatic-BB-gun-P90-replica-.html

or

http://www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/549/2-TONE-GUNS-PRO/466/2-TONE-AEG-PRO/2294/NEW-BULLDOG-M4A1

or

http://www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/549/2-TONE-GUNS-PRO/466/2-TONE-AEG-PRO/2297/NEW-BULLDOG-M4E

however if i get the 2nd or third gun i have to buy a seperate battery pack and fast loader which will rack up prices, but the first one has a buch of usefull accesories and comes highly rated. what do you guys suggest as a starter skirmishing gun

No. Please don't buy from justbbguns!!!!!!

Just look at the justbbguns thread. They're utter rip off merchants (and they lie about a load of their products too) That M4 is £80! WHAT?

It will probably be made of sh*t plastic.

The internals are most likely plastic as well.

You won't be able to upgrade it.

It looks terrible.

It WILL be out ranged by everything else.

I could go on...

You can get a G&G Combat Machine M4 for £100-120! A battery and charger maybe £20-£30 more at the most.

You're only paying £50 more and trust me you will be getting a MUCH better gun.

Everyone recommends them if you have looked around at some other threads you will notice how popular they are because they're so good. Much better quality, excellent range and accuracy (performance to rival much more expensive guns)

If you're gonna buy from a 'bbguns' site then I'd spend 20 absolute max on a springer pistol or something if you just want it for messing around with doing target practice.

There should be a lot of useful guides around here for beginners or how to start and everything. I think it is UnrustleThineJimmies who has all the really useful links in his signature.

Oh and welcome to the forums by the way.

All three of those are a pile of wank, dont waste your money. Get a G&G combat machine.

well, saved a life! my mate bought that bulldog, was firing like 2 rps ( normal aegs 15-20) 200 fps and broke after 1 month of using normally. I bought my first gun as a G&G CM16 carbine, love it to bits, seriously good. It outshoots other peoples guns that cost twice the price. I would say, invest in a LiPo, get some good eye protection. get some DPM gear, for a fiver, cheap as chips, and maybe a very cheap tactical vest. Say you buy the gun for £120, you then buy battery and charger for £50 altogether (imax and 2600mah LiPo, although you can get cheaper LiPos) and then DPM, some BBs, and an extra hi cap for £30, as well as a tactical vest for £20 and some nice boots for £30, and maybe some heroshark goggles as well as a mesh lower mask for £30.

£280 for a load out that will last you years, outperform others and will just generally be AWESOME!

Joking aside, don't look at it from a cheap perspective, it isn't a cheap sport, save up some money, sell some stuff and then buy something like this after being recommended what you do and don't want.

DON'T BUY FROM BB GUN WEBSITES!!!!!! THEY OVERCHARGE, HAVE SHIT CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND WON'T GIVE REFUNDS WHEN YOUR GUNS BREAK!!

Buy from:

firesupport

landwarriorairsoft

zerooneairsoft

patrolbase

Imax b6ac with any 1300mah+ lipo (7.4v) would have you laughing, heard very good things about the imax for the price

When you charge the lipo, it has an lcd screen so when you come to charge it enter the details of your lipo, like what mah it is, plug the balancer in and always charge with it in. You will need a mini tamiya battery and also a connector for the battery to plug on the gun and also I believe xt60 to mini tamiya to charge the battery... Will explain better tomorrow afternoon after school when I am on my computer

Sorry for any mistypes my phone is that blame

Pro airsoft supplies do a starter pack:

http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/cm16_transparent_starter_pack.html

I emailed them and they'll be in stock very soon!

However, due to feedback on here I'd get another mask.
