Game modes and maps that HAVE to be done.

That picture looks to me like:

 

Left side - Just BB Gun customers - FANTASTIC solid weapon, feel the quality over 349 fps (with a 325fps tailwind)

 

Vs

 

Right side - Pro Airsoft Supllies customers - shooting fish in a barrel

Right up there beautiful gun,striking colour scheme, powerful recoil and for use only with high quality .12 Bulldog ammo

When I played paintball at delta force, they had a map where there were two buses, The enemy were in the opposite bus to the President. You had to escort the President to the other bus without him (it was a her when played) being hit. Maybe that on a larger scale with an escape vehicle and planes (Boeing's).

 

Sounds like the Delta Force near me. Is there another paintball place up the road on the other side (Campaign Paintball or something)? If so I'm a 10 minute drive from there.

Xsite run a similar Rourke's Drift type game at the beginning where you have all but about 6-8 so anywhere form 60+ defending while the 6-8 attack. Everyone who is hit is defending joins the attack and the attack have unlimited lives from a respawn

Speaking of airsoft GI, anyone play trouble in terrorist town on garry's mod? Node did an airsoft version and it looks like good fun.

I was waiting for Node to do that for a while, I could see it happening when they started getting into TTT again.

 

I'd like to see an infection gamemode similar to the Halo games. Bunch of survivors with only a couple of alpha zombies on the other team with infinite respawns and melee weapons only (Give them rubber training swords or something), then they run around and try to infect the survivors. When the survivors are hit by a zombie, they go to respawn, swap out their gun for a melee weapon, then they are also a zombie. It'd be brilliant.

If money were no issue I'd love to play a downed chopper crew scenario. 3 crash survivors have to get to a radio to call in for backup, the opposition are looking for them in dense woodland with vehicular support. If the chopper crew get captured before they make radio contact then their back up will have to assault the opposition's base directly and airlift the crew out, if not, then chopper crew get to choose the extraction point and the opposition have to fight them there.

 

That or we just turn Madrid into one big airsoft site.

why would money be an issue for that? lots of sites operate vehicles. My old local used to run a variation of this game pretty much every time, it'd be the last game of the day and 3 players would be nominated as 'pilots', they'd have pistols only and would need to make their way from one end of the site to the other, via a point which only they and the marshals knew, without being captured.

Helm's Deep.

Mounted mini guns and Snipers for the defenders, pistols for the attackers.

Attackers have unlimited respawn and must blow up the grate, and defenders must then fall back, and defend for as long as possible.

take it either semi auto only or pistols only, limited ammo. can zombies use grenades akin to in the original? remember you would have a bulk force would end up hiding in a room like they always did..

 

different game mode start. everyone speread out before team selection out of view of any other players. package given to each playe with team colours of one form or the other. fight to get to your own spawn. die before making it there and you are downed till revived. make it to your spawn and you from then on play normally, first team to have all their team returned wins.

 

and then just game maps from old good games... maby some split level goodness(be it under ground tunnels, or rooftop styled walkways linking buildings, or tree houses.... etc)

Yeah split level is good,particularly old industrial areas, have seen some killer gameplay from American fields.

Speaking of buying out Madrid, anyone ever remember that empty town up for sale in Spain on top gear? Imagine a large game there with vehicles roaming around and roadblocks with machine gun posts at the ends of the street. Sooo coollll

I'd love to do a massive urban warfare scenario stretching over a week. Somewhere sunny like Spain as Zak mentioned, Idm vehicles but I'd like the idea of your team of 100 or so being split down into a few platoons, then those being split into sections, and then having one section manning a checkpoint for 'civilians' to be evac'd through, another keeping an MG nest up and running and the last section out on a clearance patrol of your part of town. Imagine the scramble when you come under contact! Awesome :)

In Stratford in Avon, a couple of miles it of town by long marston there's a massive train graveyard. There must be 50-80 carriages with all the constructions you'd expect like the platform, walk bridges, workshop/hangers and signal rooms. There's plenty of greenery there too The only thing that's used there is a couple of hangers at the back for a car storage. Other than that its a ghost town. It would make a brilliant site

The train yard and the old airfield right next door. Trains, planes, woods and runways. What more could you want!

I've played one before where it's every man for them selves and there's two towers in the middle if the field. You start by every player touching the green fence somewhere around the perimeter, then you all rush the towers and you have to stand upright, but can still shoot, for 30 seconds I end the game

bigger problems than money exist when it comes to air insertions with airsoft!

 

Yeah, i guess there's no generic 'don't be a mong' form for that sort of stuff
