Aluminium(or Zamak) machined body it seems. Uses a new gas system. Comes with a Cerokete coating. Looks like TM is going all out on this one.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olCr4zjAm6k&feature=youtu.be&t=1m47s

Release date & price-TBA

Also some new things-

HK417 in the works! http://img01.militaryblog.jp/usr/f/i/r/firstameyoko/IMG_8292.jpg

Pretty good improvement from last year's shizouka announcements. GBB M4- hoping the new system is good and not a pile of pot metal crap. TM are pretty good when it comes to GBB system design so I have high hopes for this. Expect a high price from all the fancy stuff like CNC work and cerokete coating(And of course the TM brand name) M870 breacher,as expected. hopefully the new cylindrical gas tank will require less long term upkeep that the current one. A hicapa AEP is a nice addition, adds some variety since AEPs are slowly gaining popularity it seems.

417 recoil shock- Can we expect a new gearbox design? The larger buffer tube might allow a beefier recoil mech too. Might not be popular as a DMR platform since TM recoils are over engineered in some ways so modding is hard- but the battle rifle style would be very cool.

I dont think making a DMR from a TM recoil will be too hard, I know the eagle 6 guys have done a few without issues- The 417 will have to have a new style gearbox (though every different new TM recoil has had differences in some ways anyway so wouldn't be a surprise) to get the grip angle right. I actually hope that they use a normal style buffer tube for it- yes it's not accurate to the real thing but it would allow people to swap for different stocks for their preferences etc.

I think the shotgun is hideous, really ugly but equally a lot of people like it so fair enough.

The M4 is very likely to be on my buy list, I was holding out for LM4 stuff to be available over here but with the GHK and TM on the way I'm gonna hang on a bit to see how they are, not really wanting a WE.

Not fussed by the AEPs, waste of money imo but nice for those who do like them I guess...

Yeah within a month there will be the first aftermarket bits out, with more following pretty quickly judging by the rest of their stuff. The only system that comes close to having as many aftermarket bits as tm rifles is the WA gbbr system.

TM M4 uses a new gas system-why would they bother adapting the system to use another manufacturer's magazines? Makes no sense. And crying proprietary is stupid because it's a new gas system. Not a lot of companies make aftermarket mags for TM GBBs since the TM ones are often pretty good so I would not expect too many, maybe prowin or some company like that churn out some. Spare parts on the other hand will hopefully be plentiful.TM GBB internals are generally pretty decent (Aside from parts like the nozzle cup and nozzles themselves) so I'm hoping the GBB m4 is not a pile of pot metal internal crap like some WE models and too many WA type guns.

Because there's plenty of them, more spare parts ect. But I see your point.

The bolt is made out of Zinc. This was a decision made to have greater recoil than durability instead of going for a lightweight aluminium bolt. FFS marui. Hopefully it's made well and does not shatter in a million pieces under green gas use. The aftermarket will hopefully take care of that(Laylax)

I don't think it'll be anything to worry about. When companies like WE's can take steel bolts then I doubt something from TM will struggle too much, even their aluminium ones are known to have a number of issues.

TM are one of, if not the best when it comes to reliability and unlike many airsoft companies, they tend not to sell stuff that will break easily, their stuff tends to be made so that it's not taken apart often or so that the user doesn't have to constantly replace parts so long as it's used as intended.

how much force do you think these things have to stand up to?! Zinc will be more than tough enough to go back and forwards under relatively low gas pressures, especially as it'll be bouncing off a buffer at the back.

I wanted to buy the ghk m4, since I have alredy few mags, but I'll wait for the TM gbb and see. I like the Breacher too but it's will cost as much as the full lenght one. Pulse Japan have them in preorder.

Im liking the new releases. I'm 100% grabbing the breacher! I've been wanting the m870 for cqb games but I don't like large stock. I've been trying to think up a way to modify it but with the gas tank in the stock there was no way to achieve such. AND THEN they go mention the breacher! Happy f*cking days!!! Deffo top of the birthday list. I've already squared the money for this with a retailer! It's just a case now of WHEN not if

When the HK417D comes out I will avoid it like the plague. I don't wanna see pics or vids or bump into it at a skirmish because of I do....

... I will end up buying one! It's like shown crack to coke heads. This just ain't fair

Definitely going to get my mits on a breacher. The M870 is great and all but like Black Death said: it's quite a long shotgun for CQB (hence why I have my CA870 even if it's single shot).

Hopefully it's not in the same price range as the M870 but more than likely will be.

Unfortunately will be similar price range. The m870 is 29980 yen and the breacher is 28650 yen. I was hoping would be much cheaper. The shop in japan quoted 6000 yen for delivery to UK . So with today exchange is £201 + custom/vat= £261. I guess shops in UK will sell it for around £300.

I reckon those breachers will sell like hot cakes. Reckon the m870s might get a lot cheaper as to be honest why would you want one when you can have a breacher?

I don't think I've been this eager for a product release since the Nintendo64

You do know that they have made a stock tube gas tank?

I know that somebody else also made (a slightly better version) but I can't remember who.

I'd really like the Tokyo Marui MWS, but G&P / KWA GBBRs are £300-£400. Won't TM be even more? Magazines will probably be more expensive as well. :(

I'll stick to saving up for a G5 I think.

EDIT: Ah okay so expected price is ¥54,800 or ~£320. I'm still guessing mags will be a lot though.

TM mags are generally average price. I expect mags to be £40ish. Gun probably 450-550/
