Why do you want a 2 tone? I ask because there are many misconceptions about the law floating around.

You can buy a RIF with defences other than UKARA, you know........being a regular skirmisher, having a junior site membership and even keeping photos of you skirmishing on a Facebook account works for 2nd hand sales and may even be good enough for buying stuff from new (I know it is with the junior membership if you're buying at the site's shop)

Unfortunately with importing and buying from major retailers, they demand UKARA numbers so..m

^^Yes, unfortunately UKARA do still have a de facto monopoly. The best thing about transparent as a 2 tone colour is that you can paint it inside with any cheap black spray paint, as well as externally, so when it gets scratched, unlike orange or green, it will not show. As soon as you are a skirmisher you can legally change your 2 tone into an RIF. Worth bearing that in mind, because if you get one which is painted, rather than made from brightly coloured plastic, you can just remove the paint with Fairy Power Spray.

With a transparent gun its also perfectly possible to buy replacement parts from the manufacturer, all be it at quite an expense usually. The ones with the front handguard and stock are a bit cheaper to fix as a RIF than ones with the receiver and stock for this as you probably want to replace the handguard with rails anyway at some point.
