diversify or specialise?

for a while now ive been considering my next pistol. i currently have an we m9 biohazard pistol.. which i love it is a beaut, but isnt the most efficient pistol, and is a jerk after a dozen or so shots. not that i have any intention of selling it. but i am considering my next pistol and cant decide on what to aim for next wither to go for another m9 of some form(thinking m93) or go for something different(like a socom or luger) or go for the main pistols( 1911 glock, though i think glocks are fuguly) i have been considering that i might be better specialising in my m9s as ill have more part compatibility.

what's your thoughts on this specialise or diversify?

Do you want a pistol to go with a loadout? Are you happy with loadouts which a Beretta would suit?

Will you want several mags? If you do, maybe one which will share mags with your M9 will give you value added...

as i say i love my m9, tis beautiful. but the parts market fro upgrades seems rather limited, bought a broken one to fix up and improve mine and done some bits to it. so i have some parts thats why im thinking of it but then again i know what its like getting parts, and im not overly sure on comparability with other makes of m9(tm asg etc) so its more a collection thing, specially when you compare to my rifles which are all very different (tommy, m4, aug, super 90)so its as much a question to everyone else as to wither they with they had specialised or diverged looking back.

I got excited when you listed the Super 90 with your AEGs.

I NEED a semi-auto Super 90 in my life =[

On topic though, I think you should join the Glock master race. My mate Joe was like you, a non-believer. After his M&P died he bought a Glock 18 just because he wanted full auto, within mere hours of getting it, he was instantly a Glock fan lol.

The WE Glocks are direct clones of the TM ones, they're cheap as chips, truly budget pistols, but the performance is mofudging amazeballs.

Am a G18c fan too, I like the TMs over the WEs and keep mine standard as it is plenty good enough out the box (and works well in winter too due to the plastic parts.... which are more than sturdy enough but won't like green gas).

Don't be another Glock user! Dare to be different!

I currently run an Umarex Elite Force 75 (clone of KWA's KZ75/CZ75) as a secondary whenever I'm not running my TM M19 6" revolver. Both are a lot of fun to shoot (the 75 clocks in at a healthy 340 fps on green gas whereas the M19 is around 240) and get a lot of looks at game sites purely because neither are yet another glock platform or 1911.

I think both have been handled/fired by other people more than I have myself lol.

I like the simplicity of them, they kinda remind me of MacBooks, or in fact, most Apple products. There's nothing on them that you don't need, and sometimes features are missing just to keep them looking sleek. Simple, yet sexual.

I love the angle of the grip and I like the low profile of them, you hold them very high which means that the slide is incredibly close to your hand.

Glocks and Sigs are all I'll ever buy, can't stand 1911s and although Berettas are nice and I do like them, think they look amazing, I just don't like them enough to buy one.

im considering something like this http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Heckler-Koch-HK45-Airsoft-Pistol-Black_A1IGW9.aspx#.U0hxc_ldXpM

reason being list loadout was based on resident evil, think i might do the next one on book of eli as i love it and the whole post apoc style so may as well but have to look up reviews etc...

It's not clear from the description if this is the KWA or the TM version. The latter isn't meant to be released for the best part of a week, interesting it is marked as just arrived though.

I'm going to be calling a couple of shops about the TM version on the 18th as that was the announced launch date for Japan.

Get a Makarov dude! Or a Tokarev!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are only two Makarovs made for airsoft and both use CO2 so shoot a bit hot to be site legal. Unless I'm completely wrong of course.

The Tokarev is a viable option though. I'm after one of the KWA ones:

Yeah there is no Makarov that is good for the UK as is. The trouble is that if you do the mods to bring the power down, you've got a useless lump cos none of them have hop up - at all, not even fixed :( That KWA TT33 looks nice, but I seem to remember reading that it has issues somewhere or other - you know what my memory's like though, eh? Can't remember where  If it stays at that price for a while I might get one though / my Soviet loadouts are missing a pistol...

A blowback Tokarev by KWA for only that much? That's great! I want one now!

That's why I have my CZ - it's decent even if it's not properly russian (Eastern bloc though). Might be tempted to get the KWA anyway as it has their NS2 style of gas system which is a lot more efficient. Only downside I can see is that it's very much a niche gun so mags are quite scarce.
