All depends on what your looking for in a vest or rig. That's a light ammo vest so a couple a rifle mag and pistol mags so if you hammer your mags that'll only hold two plus one in your in rifle.

It depends on how/where you play. If you play woodland and you're happy with just a couple of high caps then it's fine. If you're playing CQB 3 midcaps is ample (for most players), plus you've got 3 pistol mag pouches aswell. I think for the money it's a great bit of kit.

I've got one of these

I wanted to go for a full SDU loadout but I'm still a couple of bits short however I run this for CQB with my shotgun as primary and it has more than enough capacity for what I need. Depending on your primary it might be worth a look.

Excellent chest rig from Bulle and brilliant service from Flecktarn.co.uk.

I use the Recon Chest Harness myself in OD but this is the same price including pouches! :)

Same price as the China / ACM ones - except it's much better quality!

Check eBay - when looking to a DPM 95 vest I was pointed through another forum to look for Arktis stuff on eBay - lots of ex-services stuff on there and low prices. Got some thing like this for under £20 - might be worth having a browse

Bit late to the party, but I've been looking at all the condor stuff for my first rig. There a few good reviews online, including some from a dude called nutnfancy... They do full plate carriers down to simple chest rigs... Might be worth a look?

I brought a viper chest rig for £20 when I first started and I still use it regularly. It's surprisingly durable and has only ripped where I have deliberately done it to modify the vest.

Worth checking out if you're on a realllly tight budget like I was.

(You can get them on eBay for a lot cheaper than the price listed in the link)
