Hi guys

I am new to the whole airsoft thing.

I have been given a Tokyo Marui M16 by a friend of mine, it needs a fair few new bits and I was wondering if you guys could help me find them.

I am looking for a body (polymer or steel), receiver , and front sights.

Here is a pic of the gun and the broken bits which i need to fix

Broken mount on body

Front sights have the retaining pins missing and so it falls all over the place

If you guys could point me in the direction of any used/cheap new parts i would be really grateful.

Do parts from other manufacturers fit??

Thanks mate, I have found a nice front sight for it, do you know what rail I would need as they seem to do a lot of different sizes??

The body's are a bit more than I want to spend to be honest, wouldn't mind spending maybe 50 quid on one. Would prefer used bits to be honeat

Just bear in mind that you may be committing a criminal offence by taking what is a pile of parts and assembling them, because that could be construed as "manufacturing a realistic imitation firearm". To be sure you are not committing the offence, you should go airsofting a few times and keep some record of having done so. You will then have a permitted defence under the Violent Crime Reduction Act.

You should definitely read the section of this forum concerning the law, but in practice just make sure that neither you nor anybody you give or lend it to goes in for any dickheadery, especially in public, and that anybody you sell it to is an airsoft skirmisher.
