I removed the front sight post on my G&G CQB R to replace it with some flip up sights. It worked great apart from the gas tube. The problem is with the post it fits into a slot but without it it's free to wobble. It doesn't wobble much at all but there is a little wobble.

I have uploaded a couple of photos which hopefully makes the problem a little clearer. Any ideas / solutions guys?

Cheers!

There are a couple of options:

1) Gas block to replace the missing sight post. You will need it to hold the end cap in place or your RIS may wobble. Random example: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/element-vlt-gas-block-2.html

2) Get a folding front sight/gas block. Random example: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/accessories/sights/g-p-vltor-front-sight-for-m4-airsoft-rifle-sand.html

3) Get a free float RIS and remove the gas tube altogether - it's just there for looks!
