Hi,

I may be a bit ahead of myself here, but I'm shortly going to purchase an Ares G36K.

(assuming the boss/girlfriend gives me the green light - tell me about it)

I'm not overly keen on the skeleton type stock and would be looking to get a solid stock, as can be found in the V series.

Couple O questions,

Firstly, would any make stock fit as standard to the ares, like G&P etc?

Secondly, would anyone be able to point me in the direction of a company based in Blighty that sells them?

(with the extra wiring)

nb No awards for anyone suggesting I buy the KV!

The umarex ones are S&T, a sub company of ARES.

ARES do actually make some of their own G36s but without the stock.

Firesupport sell the stocks AFAIK, but the wiring is down to you.

Do you mind telling us why you want to buy the variant stock separately? If you want the option to swap back, it'll be far cheaper to buy the KV and get a fixed stock off fleabay - they're always cropping up. A tenner should do it...

The Umarex V versions come with both stocks.

Although there is no room for rear batteries in their V stock.

Surely it;s possible to mod the V stock to take a battery?

You could dremel the insides out in theory. Haven't tried it though.

I emailed RedWolf UK Office and they said that they cant sell Umarex guns from the UK office due to licensing.

Anyone have any other suggestions as to who sells the G36KV and has it in stock!?

And provides a two tone painting service!
