Friends and I have been considering getting in to airsoft for a while. I had no idea the community was so large until now. We all have firarms experience and find the idea of cqb and modern military manouvers appealing.

Do we need to form a team or can we join an existing team?

Where is the nearest place to get realtime advice and supplies?

Is it more cost effective to build a match grade aeg from parts or buy a functional piece and upgrade?

I've been offered a Tokyo Marui AR15 aluminum upper and lower and thought I'd start there. Anyhoo, plenty more questions to come.

Pleased to meet you all.

Welcome to the forums :)

- You don't have to join or form a team, lots of people play on there own

- That would depend on where you are based?

- Most people will just upgrade and off the shelf gun. You wouldn't be useless with a completely standard gun anyway

Hope that helps a bit. If you have any more questions it might be best to post them in the relevant forum section as they will get a bit more attention in there.
